Longitude was founded on a proprietary algorithm that enabled financial intermediaries to provide new Web-based derivatives and risk management products to their customers. This unique online trading environment was brought to market with a comprehensive graphic-user interface developed jointly by Longitude and Godat Design. To support this start-up venture, Godat Design created an identity program and marketing materials that explained Longitude's entirely new technology and the opportunities they would provide. A simple wordmark contrasts with the dynamism of flowing water to project an engaging image of the company's potential. The corporate Web site, sales and training materials, and multiple generations of product interface were all developed to allow for Longitude's growth and change.
