Since 1912, Research Corporation served quietly as a foundation supporting the achievements of emerging scientists. In anticipation of their centennial, they chose to make some significant realignments of their marketing. By incorporating their old tagline into a new longer name, "Research Corporation for Science Advancement", this allowed their new tagline "A foundation dedicated to science since 1912" to define the organization's structure, purpose and provenance. Their antiquated logo was significantly updated to represent the energy and dynamism of their current programs and to "evoke the complexity of science and its promising future of organic, collaborative growth based on creative interconnections." Godat Design also redesigned and rebuilt their website, created their annual report, generated advertising, and helped re-launch their publishing activities. A series of new symposia "scialog" received its name and identity with the help of Godat Design.
